What do you do with the cards and letters you receive? Do you keep them all, just keep the photos, throw them away?

i keep most of them. i will be honest...i don't keep them all. i keep cards & letters from the people that i love. others (unless they're extremely unusual or funny) i toss after a while.
photos i tend to keep until i forget who it is.
i don't keep all gifts that i get...even if it is from people that i love. if you know me well & get me something i like i will keep it. i know it probably sounds mean...but i really don't have any use for, or desire to keep, some of the things i get. if you don't know what to get me....ask me for a wish list. i will be happy to provide one. lol

How do you feel about your birthday? Do you look forward to it and remind all your friends, or do you dread it and try to keep it a secret?
when i was a child i would look forward to it like everyone else. couldn't wait for the presents!!!
now that i'm older...i don't dread it...but i don't look forward to it either. it's like any other day. i don't like having a birthday party. julie usually takes me out to dinner for my b-day. (i take her out for hers) that's about it.
Who is ringing in the New Year with you? Who do you wish could be with you, but isn't there?
i don't really know. it'll either be my cousins skot, claudia & candace ... or just me & nanny... or all 5 of us.
i'm not really wishing for anyone at the moment. i'm just enjoying being around my family. i'm not really in the mood to be around a lot of people for some reason... i''ve been invited twice to go with skot & candace to do stuff with them & their friends...but i just don't feel like being in a crowd right now.
When did you really get to make a difference for someone else?

the only time i can think of is when i found this poem & it changed the way i treated my mother. i was a loving child, but i was also a bit of an ass to her. it made me realize what i was doing & i stopped. i tried to make her life the best that i could while she was here because of it.

he hates to kiss & wants kids...so that destroyed any true desire i had to be with him. lol
then there was terri.
she was a wonderful girlfriend... until the end.
